Senior Software Engineer/Architect

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in complex Software Engineering and Architecture initiatives in an agile environment.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in developing highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native platforms (preferably on AWS).
  • Hugely advantageous to have led or participated in the evolution of monolithic systems to microservices and have expertise in various design patterns.
  • Deep expertise in several programming languages (Big advantage if those include C# and Golang).
  • Expertise in service mesh/service bus/event bus.
  • Expertise/fluency in modern relational and non-relational databases (Key-Value, Document, columnar or graph) and how these fit within various architectures and use cases.
  • Expertise in API development (predominantly REST & gRPC but GraphQL welcome too), including governance & security.
  • Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, cloud operations and cloud cost models with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
  • At least 2 years of experience with containerisation/orchestration and respective CI/CD pipelines

Senior Software Engineer (Front-End)

Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in complex Software Engineering in an agile environment.
  • 3+ years of practical experience in developing highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native platforms (preferably on AWS).
  • Practical experience in micro-frontend architectures and transformation of monolithic applications, a big plus.
  • Expertise in one or more component-based frameworks from the JavaScript ecosystem (ideally Vue).
  • Experience in evolving and implementing design systems.
  • Experience with accessibility standards.
  • Expertise in Typescript, JavaScript, CSS & HTML.
  • Understanding of UX principles and intuition for great user experiences.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Familiarity with C# / .NET / SQL Server is a bonus

Senior Database Engineer

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in service mesh/service bus/event bus.

Sales Development Representative

Position Responsibilities

Nurture inbound leads into trials

  • Respond to all inbound leads immediately with a qualification call
  • Proactively target high quality leads with outbound calling and emailing
  • Tease the value of EP by way of initial unique selling points and relationship building
  • Arrange product demonstrations for Teacher Consultants and manage calendar bookings
  • Identify the quality of leads and build a customer profile for the Teacher Consultant and Business Development team (subjects and year levels taught, school size, existing resources used, intentions and likelihood to purchase)
  • Write and send personalised email sequences to new leads
  • Complete time-zone based call blocks throughout the day
  • Utilise data and reporting to identify high quality leads for outbound follow up (keeping track of teacher referrals and re-engagement activity)
  • Coordinate with the marketing team around timing and types of campaigns

Nurture trials into qualified opportunities

  • Ensure trials meet a series of key objectives to increase the likelihood of a sale (by setting up a training demo, encouraging continued engagement, asking for a referral to decision makers, determining their intention to purchase and/or reasons to suggest closing the deal would be difficult)
  • Arrange sales meetings and co-ordinate calendar bookings for Business Development Managers
  • Keep track of trials in the sales pipeline to continuously surface top opportunities to Business Development
  • Research and understand school types, school calendars and budgeting timelines to build customer profiles which assist the Business Development team

Administrative Assistant

Position Responsibilities

Email tasks

  • Triage emails to the appropriate team or person from the global inbox

Data tasks

  • Ensure all internal school data records are up to date and accurate - this includes information like school roll size data, school address, the finance contact email for invoicing.
  • Keep school notes and information tidy and organised (signed application forms, deal notes, product information)
  • Set up licenses for newly signed deals and trials and keep these up to date throughout the year
  • Create and update user accounts on request (add students and classes, add teachers)

Reporting tasks

  • Create reports using hub-spot and excel based on requests by Teacher Consultants or the Business Development team.
  • Conduct research to build profiles of our purchasing and trialling customers. This includes information like school calendar timelines, budgeting information, school size, student enrolment numbers, existing platforms they use. Provide this research to the Business Development team to inform our marketing and sales strategy.

General tasks

  • Raise and amend school invoices
  • Wing calls to write down notes on behalf of Teacher Consultants and the Business Development team
  • Be agile and ready to support the Teacher Consultants and Business Development team with any requests they make day-to-day via slack and email
